CO2-react is a FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network whose main research aim is to develop practical knowledge and predictive tools for successful, long term, geological CO2 storage that can be integrated into industrial processes.
This includes three main objectives:
- To advance in our understanding and our ability to store CO2 in the subsurface.
- To advance in the understanding of the fate and consequences of CO2 injection into the subsurface during carbon storage efforts, from the atomic to the field scale.
- To study the optimal conditions for injecting pure CO2 or CO2 rich gases into porous rocks.
